Regular drama sessions in the classroom
We currently run regular weekly and monthly in-school sessions for 3 - 8 year old pupils at the Panda Learning Center, 3 - 6 year olds at Happy Child Pre-school and various ages at Riverside International School.
Classes combine fun drama games and confidence building activities, alongside theatre techniques such as devising, character work, movement and voice.

Prague Youth Theatre School Workshops can take place in-school or at our venue in the centre of Prague. Workshops use theatre to enhance school curricular units; engaging students and teachers in active learning while providing tools for artistic expression, successful group interaction and improved self-confidence.
All classes begin with a physical and vocal warm-up to help students focus and prepare, plus acting games are incorporated throughout the program. As active participants, classroom teachers also gain exposure to proven arts-based teaching techniques for continued use in their classes, which provides a forum for creative and academic expression. The workshops also encourage development of concentration, discipline, teamwork, confidence and public speaking.

'Can we have drama every day?' This is what our students requested after a week-long PYT drama workshop! Don't hesitate, sign-up now!
The workshop that PYT ran for us allowed the children to learn about feelings and emotions in a fun and different way. Adam and his team's direction allowed the children to express and enjoy themselves right from the start. This was the first workshop that PYT ran for us but hopefully will not be the last!
When preparing for the end of year 7 show, we asked PYT to help students to come out of their shell, to be more expressive on stage. Through different activities and games, students practised a variety of acting techniques which helped them to perform well.
Our students really enjoyed the devising workshop. They learned so much about not only drama fundamentals such as vocal work, improvisation, and physicality but also teamwork and creative expression.
