Our Approach

Process & Performance

Prague Youth Theatre was founded in 2011 with the aim to offer a performance-based learning structure for young actors. We are Prague's English-language youth theatre for 3 - 18 year olds.

We put equal emphasis on the drama process, and the final product and we are passionate about creating performances that excite and challenge our actors, and showcase their strengths and talents.

As a centre of excellence our classes are led by professionally trained teachers. Our students are encouraged to think, question and grow as creative, confident, and successful individuals and to take ownership of, and pride in the exciting work they create together.

Prague Youth Theatre is fully inclusive and open to all. Our free taster sessions are provided for the benefit of the students and their parents, not as a means of auditioning potential members.

Other Opportunities

Our Exam Courses offer London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) tuition to students who wish to take the LAMDA examinations and gain world-renowned qualifications in a range of performance subjects.

Our annual Summer camps provide fun and exciting opportunities to make theatre and friends during the summer break.

We offer regular school workshops and classes for native and non-native English speaking students and their teachers, to encourage the use of theatre as a powerful educational tool.
