A festive one-act play for young performers that brings the well-known carol to life with a bit of history, humour, and some unexpected characters. As the story unfolds, we learn about the real medieval figure behind the carol, alongside the traditional tale of a king and his page braving harsh winter weather to bring food, fuel, and warmth to a poor peasant. With embedded singing, light comedy, and moments of reflection, the play highlights generosity, kindness, and the surprising things that happen when people reach out beyond their comfort.
