Castle Royal
In the tiny capital of the world’s smallest country, the townsfolk hatch a scheme to revive their economy by installing a King and Queen to attract tourists. When no real royals are interested, an ordinary couple, the Smiths, take on the crowns and unexpectedly win the people’s affection - until their unruly twins grow up and take charge. What begins as comic pageantry soon spirals into chaos, as the selfish Prince and Princess impose absurd rules and divide the town, forcing everyone to question what true leadership looks like. Blending satire, humour, and a touch of farce, Castle Royal explores power, common sense, and the folly of putting crowns on the wrong heads. By Bill Tordoff.
