When the lights go out during detention, four teenagers discover a mysterious book filled with modern, school-set twists on the classic horror stories of Edgar Allan Poe. As they read tales of creepy dolls, haunted classrooms, sinister messages and things that go bump in the night, the line between the stories and their own darkened school begins to blur. The Poe Plays is a lively, spooky and darkly funny collection of Poe-inspired tales that brings the master of horror to life for a new generation. Presented by arrangement with Drama Notebook
